Geoff Ready joined Acceleration Resources in 2016 and is a Partner of the firm. Mr. Ready is responsible for sourcing Canadian energy deals, assisting in managing Canadian investments, and first-pass technical due diligence on identified projects based on his Engineering background and experience. Mr. Ready currently serves on the Boards of Gambit Oil Corp., and Ghost River Resources Inc.

Immediately prior to joining Acceleration Resources, Mr. Ready was instrumental in identifying, evaluating, and executing on a $356mm acquisition of Kicking Horse Energy by ORLEN Upstream. This followed 8 years as a sell-side energy research analyst at Dundee Capital, Haywood Securities, and PI Financial covering mostly Canadian Upstream E&P public companies. Prior to that Mr. Ready worked in progressively more advanced engineering roles for 11 years including experience in field production, exploitation, evaluations, reserves, operations, and exposure to financials and marketing. Mr. Ready received an M.B.A. with Distinction from Heriot-Watt University in 2001 and a BSc. in Chemical Engineering with Distinction from the University of Calgary in 1996.
